Selection of Auspicious Date for ROM
Marriage is a life-long commitment and your wedding should be blessed by Heaven and Earth. Extremely important but yet easily overlooked, an auspicious ROM date is more than just using the traditional Chinese Almanac to sieve out the favorable dates based on zodiac signs.
When date selection is supplemented with the individual’s Eight Characters/Bazi (i.e. year, month, date and time of birth), we can align the right factors to minimize unpleasant obstacles and help you ride on the wave of success. For your big day, we hope to help you receive blessings when the stars are aligned to your benefit, whilst maximizing the happiness of the union.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What information do I need to provide?
We will require you to fill up a service form with your personal details, birth information, preferred ROM date range, ROM details, etc. The preferred ROM date range should be within a 6-9 months time frame so that we can fulfil your weekday/weekend preference (particularly for weekend). See question 6 in the below FAQ document. The longer the time frame given, the easier it will be to pick the ideal dates that are best for your ROM ceremony.ย
Q: Why do I have to set a 6-9 month preferred ROM date range?
In Yuan Zhong Siu, we will take reference to your preference and try our best to adhere to them. However, there are many factors involved to pick a good ROM date. One, the day has to be suitable for wedding celebratory activities (and there are a limited number of such auspicious days in a year). Additionally, the day cannot have clashing energies with the couple and both their parents. As such, the choices of a good date is limited and hard to find.
To pick the best date, the ROM time frame needs to be minimally 6-9 months for us to be able to cater to your requirements. In the event that the client has given a very short time frame along with many restrictions (eg Saturday/weekend only), there is a possibility that the final report does not match your requirements. We seek your kind understanding to know that our duty is to make sure we pick the best dates that will bless your union; and there may be a possibility of having both weekday and weekend recommended dates for your wedding (even if you requested for weekend only). In such a scenario, it means that we have look through ALL weekends and there are no good dates that fit your requirement. Only in such a scenario, we will suggest alternative dates.
Ultimately, you can trust that our final report will consist of the best Feng Shui date for your ROM ceremony. The dates selected will not have any clashing energies that could be detrimental to your union.
Q: In the event that I receive the report but do not like any of the dates recommended, can I request for a new set of dates?
Any re-selection of dates will be chargeable. We also advice clients to pick their ROM venue after the auspicious date for ROM report is out.
Q: What is the refund policy?
We regret to inform that once payment is made, the service is non-refundable. We recommend you to read our FAQ and/or speak to our team of specialist before you cart out.
Q: What is the difference between this service and the Selection of Auspicious Date for Chinese Wedding?
This service is suitable for individuals who are not doing the Chinese customary wedding practices (eg ่ฟๅคง็คผ, ๅฎๅบ, ่ฟๆฅ, ่ฟ้จ, ๅ้จ).ย
